Every time I tell my family something funny that the kids say or do, they always say "You need to write it down."
So we were all just sitting in the family room. I was feeding Carter and the kids were playing Lego's together. We were talking about nicknames and how you got one. Here's our conversation:
Mom: If you could have a nickname, what would it be? Think really hard about it. Tyler, you first.
Tyler: My name could be Jokey.
Mom: Good one- because you like to tell jokes. Addison is next. But she already has a nickname. We call her Goose. (jake calls her Addie Goose.) Jake, what's your nickname?
Jacob: You can call me Jacob Speedy. (Jake loves to have races with anyone who will race him- even strangers we meet at the store)
Mom: Ok, it's my turn. What can mommy's nickname be?
silence for a few seconds
Tyler: I know. . . Dishwasher!
Nice.

You have nothing in this world more precious than your children. Fuuny- I always wanted a good nickname.
So how did Addison get Goose?
Niiiiice! We are totally nickname people. All the kids have one (or 3), but we didn't consult them first in deciding. It's probably a good thing that we didn't- they may have decided to brand me as Grumpy or Anger Management! :) By the way, Emily just happens to be Goose also!
Sooo cute. Glad you can keep track of them. O is just starting to saying clever things. It's so much fun when they really start talking! Darling kiddos.
