Aaron had mutual tonight, so I was on my own to bathe the kiddies and put them to bed. We don't usually bathe them all together, but since I only have 2 hands- that's what we did tonight! The kids loved it and Carter was so quiet just watching the big kids. We got it all done. They got a bath, I read them a story, sang a race car song (which I made up because I don't know any race car songs), said prayers, gave hugs and kisses and got them all tucked in. They are all fast asleep now. My kids play so hard all day that when bed time rolls around- they hit the pillow hard. They are asleep in about 5 minutes. Sweet Dreams!

P.S. Does anyone else brush their kids hair after a bath, before bed? I can't stand putting the kids to bed with their hair all wet and messy. Am I weird??

LOL!! You're not weird! Every time I babysit and the kids have bathed/showered I have them brush their hair. Just makes sense to me..

Wow you are so weird!! Just kidding!! If your kids are anything like mine....they would have a major case of bedhead if it didn't get brushed.

We just did the same thing the other day- bathed all 4 together. Somehow we managed to go almost a whole year without needing to. Our kids love it too. The older ones laughed and laughed when we put the baby in the tub with them.
Your kids are so cute. You definitely deserve a gold star for going it alone. It's hard work! Oh- and I always brush their hair after a bath. :)
Isn't that an accomplishment? That and getting them all down for naps at the same time. That's when I felt like supermom.
I totally brush my kids hair before bed. Baths every night too! They sleep better if they're clean and pretty. Right?
Those pictures are adorable. Carter is getting so big already. I can't believe how fast they grow. He looks just like your other kiddos, such a sibling resemblance. Addie is so beautiful!
Wow Danielle! You did good. I know I'm going to panic the first night I'm left alone with 3 children to put to bed. I'm impressed with the reading, the original song composition and a hair combing at night! I have a lot to live up to. You're such a good mommy!
