I just wanted to share my favorite poem on this special day- a day to celebrate this amazing, hard, crazy and rewarding job that we call motherhood.
I'd rather be a mother than anyone on earth
bringing up a child or two (or4!) of unpretentious birth.
I'd rather tuck a little child all safe and sound in bed
than twine a chain of diamonds about my carefree head.
I'd rather wash a smudgy face with round, bright baby eyes

Happy Mother's Day to all of you out there and especially to my own mom.
I love you and am thankful for you every day. Thanks for being my mom.
And of course, I am most thankful for my 4 little blessings- who have given me this most amazing job. I really would "rather be a mother than anyone on earth." Thanks for giving me that opportunity.

You are such a beautiful and good mommy!! I just put a happy mother's day post on my blog (not as cute as your's by the way) and my opening paragraph is almost exactly the same as your's.
