Aaron and Jake's annual passes expire in a couple weeks so we figured we would try to get one more trip in and since Aaron goes back to work tomorrow (sigh)- yesterday was the day. We decided to go at 9 am and didn't get on our first ride until 1:00 pm. It took us 4 hours to get everybody ready, dressed, fed, drive there, park, renew mine and Tyler's passes, wait in line and get onto an actual ride. Wow! We did have fun though and the kids enjoyed themselves, which is all that matters. . .right?? We stayed until 4 and then when Addison started hitting anyone who came within a foot of her and throwing popcorn at people, we decided that was our cue to leave. No nap for a 2 year old is not the best idea.
So the answer. . . yes, we are crazy, but there's something to be said for being spontaneous! We had a fun family day and wore ourselves out. At least everyone slept good last night, even little Carter was exhausted after all our fun!
I was DETERMINED to get a family picture- even though the kids were not happy about it. I had to document taking our 9 day old newborn to Disneyland!
We saw Kelsey Grammar there! Just as I was taking the picture the retard in the yellow shirt walked right in front of me. Kelsey is the one in the yellow shirt and jeans behind the knucklehead in the yellow shirt. His wife is the one with the blonde hair just to the right.
We stopped to listen to the firemens band on Main St. and when they told the kids to dance, Addie was the only one to take them up on it. She was lovin' it and especially all the clapping after!
Jake found a little friend while waiting for the tram. Jake took good care of him- for about an hour and then he put hum on timeout, where I think he still is. Poor Sam.

You know you are from Southern California when you take your 9 day old to Disneyland. haha. I love it..what a fun family day. Good for y'all. Way cute about Addison dancing.
Wow! I give you lots of bonus points! I'm a bit envious as 9 days after my baby is born I'm sure I will still be high on percocets. That is just amazing. What a fun day.
Danielle you ROCK!! Take care, you're doing awesome!
How fun! Carter is going to be so adventurous!... Going to Disneyland and to a softball game before 10 days old, off-roading when he could pop out at any time, and having an unfinished kitchen a few weeks before his due date! The pictures of the kids are so cute, and I love the family pic! I did have to look up Kelsey Grammer though. I'm obviously not in the entertainment loop.
That is so funny. I love that Addison was hitting and throwing popcorn at poeple. What a sassy girl. And poor Sam. Hahah! So funny.
Awesome picture in front of the castle! What a great memory to capture. You'll look back at that later and realize how crazy it really was!
I'm glad you've adjusted well to 4! Let me know when I can help with the kids!
You are so brave!!! We are leaving Saturday morning to fly down to Disneyland! I don't knwo who's more excited, me or my kids. Was it crazy busy when you were there? Adorable family...always fun to catch up on you guys.
Owo, you really are Supermom. I am fairly certain I haven't left the house within the first month of a new baby. Way to go!
Holy freaking cow Batman! Incredible!
I though taking Kate to the REI sale at 9 days old was a little crazy - but Disneyland? SO glad you guys had a great day together - it really is the happiest place on earth. :)
