Huge!!
We planted a garden back in May. After just a few short months, it is going crazy. Actually, our whole backyard is- the garden and all of our fruit trees. It's amazing and I love it! Nothing is more scrumptious than eating a just picked peach that is still warm from the sun. I love it that my kids are eating so much fruit tis summer, that is straight from our backyard- and pesticide free! They love knocking the fruit off the trees with a rake and then eating it. My personal favorite: cherry tomatoes. I could eat those all day. Yummy!
The kids get so excited to go out each day and look for things that are ripe and ready to pick. It's been a fun project and I can't wait to do it next year. I have learned a lot this time and now I know what things I will do differently next time.
The garden in June:
We planted cucumbers, strawberries, 3 kinds of tomatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, watermelon and bell peppers.
The garden in August:
The yummy fruit trees:we have 2 peach trees, a nectarine tree, 2 apple trees and an orange tree. If you want some peaces, come on over. We have tons and they are just falling off the tree because we can't pick them fast enough.
Aren't these guys just begging to be made into some yummy jam? I am going to attempt that when we get back from our vacation. I tried cobbler and it was pretty good!

i wish i lived closer because i would for SURE come over and get some yummy fruit! i'm jealous.
I am so impressed that you have a garden...and I can relate to how busy you probably are with your family! I just feel like I can't care for another living thing at the moment so I don't know how you do it...I just dream of gardens some day:)

I wanted some peaches (something I have been craving this pregnancy) and she ran out and told me you have some...so I am tempted...he he he..
